Chinese organization denies strategy to buy Man United stake

Chinese insurer Ping An Insurance coverage Group has denied reports it has been in discussions to get a stake in Premier League giants Manchester United.
It has been reported by the Sunday Instances that a mysterious Chinese buyer has expressed an interest in purchasing a holding inside the English club, who are owned by the Glazer household.
According to the report, a few of United’s independent shareholders have already been contacted.
However, Ping An Insurance coverage Group distanced itself in the rumours on Monday.
“The details is false. Ping An haven’t been involved in any discussion on acquiring a holding in Manchester United,” Ping An spokesman Sheng Ruisheng stated by means of the 21st Century Business Herald.
“And [Ping An’s Chairman and CEO] Mr. Ma Mingzhe has never owned any shares in Manchester United.
“As a listed company, Ping An release all information in official statements. Please never believe rumours.”
